What About the Weather
Rain or Shine and Hot or Cold we practice on the water
Practice will be canceled or stopped in the event of adverse weather conditions that include but are not limited to Lightening, High Winds, Low Visibility, Extreme Temperatures or River Conditions
You will be contacted as soon as the Steersperson or Team Management has determined conditions will not allow us to practice on land or paddle
We recommend bringing additional clothing for the weather
Running Shoes/ Shoes You Can Run In, the Team may warm up running or do Land Training if water conditions are unsafe
While capsizing is rare, in cold weather we highly recommend wearing clothing that is as lightweight as possible. Heavy fabrics absorb water and make swimming difficult in the event of an emergency.
